|   5-HT 簡介

 

5-羥色胺是一種吲哚衍生物,簡稱 5-HT,化學式為 C10H12N2O,分子量為 176.22。5-羥色胺最早是從血清中發現的,又名血清素,廣泛存在于哺乳動物組織中,特別在大腦皮層質及神經突觸內含量很高,它也是一種抑制性神經遞質。5-羥色胺能與酸作用生成結晶鹽。5-羥色胺在腦組織中的濃度較高,它是調節神經活動的一種重要物質。有些機體組織當受到某些藥物作用時,可以釋放出 5-羥色胺,例如一個利血平分子可以使受作用的組織釋放出幾百個 5-羥色胺分子,因而產生利血平的一系列生理作用。作為自體活性物質,約 90%合成和分布于腸嗜鉻細胞,通常與 ATP 等物質一起儲存于細胞顆粒內。在刺激因素作用下,5-HT 從顆粒內釋放、彌散到血液,并被血小板攝取和儲存,儲存量約占全身的 8%。5-HT 作為神經遞質,主要分布于松果體和下丘腦,可能參與痛覺、睡眠和體溫等生理功能的調節。中樞神經系統 5-HT 含量及功能異常可能與精神病和偏頭痛等多種疾病的發病有關。
